Although we have shared 36 years together, I wrote this song for my wife, Sandra, on our 30th (pearl) wedding anniversary which fell on today’s date, as one of my commemorative gifts.
The profundity of the song holds significant meaning for our journey through marriage. A strong marriage, despite its fluctuations over the years, has only deepened my affection and love for my wife and best friend as the years pass.

I inadvertently wrote "Don't Come Around Here" as a song.
I intended to write a poem, and it commenced promisingly; however, I was unable to finalise it, despite dedicating considerable time to its development. Therefore, I chose to modify the wording and asked Toby Wilson, a music producer and vocalist, for his opinion. He replied that he could work with it as a song.
The completed composition exceeded my expectations and marked my initial experience with songwriting.
